We are committed to advancing innovation and leveraging our deep expertise to provide better health and a better quality of life for patients and consumers worldwide and expand our reach across diverse markets.To strengthen our European operations, we are looking for an experienced and hands‑on EHS & Facilities / General Services Manager to oversee environmental, health & safety programs and facilities management across multiple sites.Scope of the roleThe Facility & EHS Manager will lead the Group’s Facility Management (General Services, Real Estate), and EHS strategy across European operations, with a strong operational focus on Italian industrial sites. As a member of the Technical Operations leadership team, this role will be responsible for designing and implementing a unified operational framework, ensuring excellence in safety, sustainability, infrastructure management and optimization, and workplace efficiency. The position combines strategic vision, operational expertise, and the ability to drive transformation across complex, regulated environments.Key ResponsibilitiesDefine and deploy the Facility Management & EHS strategy, ensuring alignment with business, technical, and sustainability objectives.Establish and standardize new governance models, processes, and procedures to strengthen efficiency, compliance, and asset management.Oversee facility operations, general services, and real estate activities, including building maintenance, infrastructure reliability, energy efficiency, and space optimization.Ensure effective management of service providers and contractors, driving performance, cost control, and operational excellence.Lead EHS initiatives, audits, and certification programs, guaranteeing compliance with Italian and European regulations.Partner with Operations, Engineering, and Quality to embed EHS and facility principles within all business processes.Act as a key advisor to the Chief Technical Operations Officer on strategic investments, sustainability, and risk management.Who are you?Degree in Engineering, Architecture, or related technical discipline.10–15 years of experience in Facility, Real Estate, and EHS management, ideally within industrial or manufacturing environments, preferably in pharmaceutical or life science sector.Proven success in designing and implementing operational frameworks and governance systems across multiple sites or geographies.Strong expertise in facility operations, building systems, utilities, energy management, and general services.Solid understanding of Italian and European EHS legislation and regulatory standards.Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.Availability to travel across Italy and Europe as required.Excellent command of English (spoken and written); Italian language skills are a strong plus.Why Join Alfasigma?At Alfasigma, we foster a culture where the courage to innovate is key to our success.We offer a competitive salary, comprehensive benefits, and extensive opportunities for professional growth and development.Our commitment to people and patients is at the heart of everything we do.
