The Team And Role eBay is redefining the future of commerce with eBay Live, a dynamic, interactive livestream shopping experience that brings buyers and sellers together in real time. Through livestream, sellers can showcase products, build trust, and connect authentically with audiences. eBay Live is the next evolution of ecommerce, blending entertainment and shopping in a format that’s engaging, immediate, and community-driven. We’re looking for a Business Development Manager to help grow the eBay Live seller ecosystem. You’ll play a critical role in identifying, vetting, and onboarding high-potential sellers who will shape the next generation of live commerce on eBay. You’ll support the entire seller acquisition lifecycle - from outreach and qualification to contract processing and onboarding coordination - ensuring they’re equipped for success. Working cross-functionally with Onboarding, Category, Live Ops, and other teams, you’ll acquire new sellers to thrive on eBay Live. What You Will AccomplishReporting to the Head of Business Operations in Italy, this person will be responsible for the business development and entire pipeline of new sellers for all categories. Source new seller leads through outreach, referrals, and event participation. Vet sellers for category fit, compliance, and readiness using defined scorecards. Maintain the seller pipeline and ensure data accuracy. Coordinate with Category Managers, Onboarding, and Legal teams on approvals and contracts. Support preparation of pitch materials, playbooks, and event presentations. Shown experience supporting and scaling seller or customer programs from onboarding through
