We need a passionate, proactive, self‑driven engineer to join a team of open‑minded individuals.What you will doAssist in software development for various projects, reporting to the HW & SW Leader.Read and understand existing code, even with missing specifications.Support development of IoT software functionalities.Be independent, proactive in problem solving and implementation.Maintain existing software.Debug software on the system and on PCB, including HW customization on PCB, electronic schematics analysis, and use of oscilloscope, signal generator, and external power supply.Manage software release and documentation.Conduct module test and integration testing.ResponsibilitiesSoftware development.Software debugging.Software specification definition.Software release management & documentation.Qualifications4-5 years in R&D Electronic development, SW Embedded & IoT (nice).Proficiency in C language and real‑time firmware for 8/32‑bit microcontrollers with no OS.Experience with interrupt handling, peripheral management, memory management, and communication protocols (I2C, UART, SPI, …).Experience with real‑time OS (e.g., FreeRTOS, ESP32) is a nice to have.Knowledge of C programming, basic assembly, and embedded IDE development (Espressif, ST, Microchip, …).Ability to write scalable and modular code at lower and higher levels.Debug proficiency using an emulator or trace logs.Basic knowledge of networking (BLE, HTTPS, MQTT, …).Education: Electronic Engineering / Informatics.Languages: Italian & English (good).Soft skills: Teamworking, understanding of security protocols (TLS, SSL, PKI, X509 certificates), IoT wireless technologies (Wi‑Fi, XBee, BLE, LoRa, Cellular, …).Experience with Over The Air Programming processes and procedures.Experience with communication protocols (MQTT, HTTP/HTTPS) and Cloud IoT platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud, IBM Watson).Hands‑on experience in prototype bring‑up and debugging, functional verification, and manufacturing support including CI automation tools such as TeamCity, Jenkins, VSTS.High‑level programming languages (C#, Python) for developing testing tools integrated with embedded devices.Hardware customization on PCB, electronic schematics analysis, use of oscilloscope, signal generator, external power supply.EEO StatementHaier Europe is an Equal Opportunity Employer.Employment decisions are made without regard to race, color, religion, national or ethnic origin, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, age, disability, or other characteristics protected by law.#J-18808-Ljbffr
