Juniper Certified Network EngineerPeople Perfect • Milan, Lombardy, ItalyWe are seeking a Juniper Certified Network Engineer to join our team in Milan. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, configuring and maintaining secure, scalable and high‑performance network infrastructures. You will work closely with cross‑functional IT teams to support network optimization, troubleshooting and continuous improvement of enterprise network systems.Key ResponsibilitiesDesign, implement and maintain enterprise‑grade network infrastructure using Juniper Networks technologies (MX, SRX, EX, QFX series).Configure and troubleshoot routing, switching and security policies in line with business requirements.Ensure network reliability, performance optimization and redundancy through proactive monitoring and maintenance.Collaborate with IT security teams to implement firewall, VPN and network segmentation policies.Manage firmware updates, patching and device lifecycle using Junos OS.Perform network diagnostics, root cause analysis and resolve escalated issues.Participate in network design reviews, capacity planning and documentation.Work with vendors and service providers for network upgrades and issue resolution.Required Qualifications & SkillsBachelor's degree in Computer Science, Telecommunications or a related field.Minimum 35 years of hands‑on experience in enterprise networking.Juniper certification required:Minimum: JNCIA-JunosPreferred: JNCIS / JNCIP (Enterprise Security or Service Provider track)Strong understanding of:Routing protocols: BGP, OSPF, IS-IS, MPLSSwitching technologies: VLANs, STP, LACP, EVPNNetwork security: SRX firewalls, VPNs, IPSec, NATNetwork management tools and monitoring systems (SNMP, SolarWinds, Nagios)Experience with Junos Space, Network Director or Mist AI is a plus.Knowledge of IPv6, QoS, and load balancing techniques.Familiarity with multi‑vendor environments (Cisco, Fortinet, Palo Alto) is advantageous.Strong analytical and problem‑solving and communication skills.Fluency in English (Italian language skills are a plus).Key SkillsLoad BalancingRouting ProtocolsNetwork AdministrationNetwork EngineeringBGPLANComputer NetworkingIPSecOSPFCisco ASAJuniperMPLSEmployment DetailsEmployment Type: EmployeeVacancies: 1#J-18808-Ljbffr
