Role Overview Senior/Staff Applied Scientist – join our ML team as the eleventh engineer. You will own ML workstreams, from requirements to literature review, model training, deployment, and monitoring, across new features and 0‑to‑1 solutions. You will work on cutting‑edge ML solutions, including a diffusion model that we train from scratch for the open‑source community. Responsibilities Own end‑to‑end ML pipelines: train, deploy, and monitor models. Define requirements, conduct literature reviews, and design experiments. Make data‑acquisition, labeling, strategy, and follow‑up decisions. Collaborate with teammates on large‑scale projects and provide product‑impact feedback from users. Fast iterate based on product usage metrics. Qualifications 3+ years of experience in PyTorch, TensorFlow or Jax, preferably with PyTorch. Extensive experience with diffusion models for image creation or editing: trained from scratch, performed deep surgery beyond pre‑training. Strong ownership sense and pragmatic mindset; prioritize rapid iteration. Experience building complex architectures in a product setting. Fluency in English; French is not required. Background in a fast‑growing startup and ability to work in a multicultural team. Benefits & Support Competitive salary + Stock‑Options / BSPCE.
