Overview The Regional Cooling Service Expert provides professional on-site services for the Schneider Electric cooling product range, including commissioning, technical on-site analysis, and issue resolution. This role focuses on complex and critical projects, troubleshooting, and on-site support for cooling equipment and systems (air cooling, air- or water-cooled chillers, CRAC/CRAH units). Location & commitments Possibility to work remotely Extensive international travel (70%) within Europe, mostly: Germany, France, BENELUX, Northern Europe, UK and others. We offer a financial bonus for travelling. EU passport holder is mandatory for this role. Main responsibilitiesPerform Startup & Commissioning on all equipment across the entire cooling product range. Evaluate unit installation (e.g., quality of piping in units and the hydraulic circuit for chillers). Evaluate system installation & operational conditions. Perform onsite adjustments to bring units to best running conditions. Identify whether a failure is related to quality, software, or operation conditions (Root cause Analysis). Collaborate with other Schneider Electric service engineers and partners during site interventions. Properly document, label, and returned all defective parts for disposal or repair. Train Schneider Electric customers on basic operations of the equipment. Perform preventive and corrective maintenance for cooling systems.RequirementsThorough understanding of HVAC principles, specifically cooling, and basic knowledge of electricity. Ability to work with general direction and operate independently most of the time. Compliance with all safety policies, practices, and procedures. Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general procedures, professional documents, technical procedures, and governmental regulations. Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals. Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions; interpret technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form. Willingness to travel internationally up to 70% of working time (EU passport holder).Education & ExperienceUniversity education in Mechanical or Electrotechnical fields (degree). At least 5 years of commissioning or field service repair experience with HVAC or cooling equipment. Confirmed experience with cooling equipment and solutions (air cooling, air- or water-cooled chillers). Experience with precision cooling is an advantage. Experience with HVAC, generators, fire detection/suppression. Strong attributes: flexibility, reliability, attention to technical details, customer focus, teamwork, leadership potential.
