You will support the global strategy to ensure the successful achievement of targets.Perform underwriting and portfolio management activities to achieve top and bottom line targets in line with the Casualty governance framework (Underwriting Authorities, Guidelines, Rules and Principles)Underwrite Casualty risks, in respect of all products (General Liability, Employer’s Liability, Products Liability, Recall, Tampering), for domestic and multinational programs, with the capability to drive the relationship with internal and external stakeholders in the insurance and reinsurance marketRequirementsThe ideal candidate will meet the following requirements:Degree in Economics or LawAt least three years of previous experience as a Corporate Casualty UnderwriterFluent knowledge of Italian and English (spoken and written); knowledge of at least one additional foreign language is preferredAbility in commercial negotiationAttitude to work in teamAbility to work in an international contextGood command of main IT packages (Office/internet) and practice in the use of underwriting toolsCompany ProfileGenerali is a major player in the global insurance industry - a strategic and highly important sector for the growth, development and welfare of modern societies.
