Join our client’s elite team in Rome, a trusted partner of European governments and international organizations. With over 30 years of expertise, they specialise in IT and space services, offering operational and engineering support for Earth observation, satellite data processing, and applied R&D.As an IV&V System Engineer, you will be responsible for system validation, test planning, and technical documentation in support of critical engineering activities. This role offers a unique opportunity to contribute to high-impact space applications while working in a dynamic, international environment.YOUR TASKS Define verification planning and establish test pass criteria Write and review operational and functional procedures Perform test evaluation and result analysis Provide software support to engineering teams Interface with all subsystems during AIV phases Support operational and pre-operational phases Author and maintain technical documentation YOUR SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE To be successful in this role, you will need: 2-5 years of experience in a relevant field Strong understanding of System Engineering and Ground Segment subsystems Experience working in Linux environments and virtualised infrastructures (e.g., VMware) Familiarity with the ECSS AIV process Familiarity with logistics, supply chain, and technical documentation management University degree in Aerospace, Telecommunications, Electronics, or Computer Science & Engineering Full professional proficiency in English (≥ B2) Nice to have: Experience in space or defence projects Exposure to Ground Segment operations Personal Skills: Proactive and solution-driven mindset for problem-solving and troubleshooting. Accountability and goal-oriented approach, taking full ownership of assigned tasks. Excellent customer liaison capability and ability to thrive in a team-oriented setting. Sharp and curious mind, eager to explore innovative solutions. Willingness to relocate to Rome (where applicable) and start a project with visibility until January 2026.
