Finance Manager, Fulfillment Technologies and Robotics FP&A Job ID: | Amazon.com Services LLC Amazon’s Fulfillment Technologies and Robotics (FTR) Finance is looking for a Finance Manager on our FTR Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A) team to deliver financial forecast reporting for Finance and Business leadership. Encompassing Amazon’s leadership principles, this role consolidates complex information into a concise story to help navigate conversations that lead to strategic decision making based on operating expenses and capital expenditures. In this centralized role, you will help tell the FTR financial story through analysis, reporting, and business writing. You will be responsible for defining and driving key financial mechanisms in coordination with our various teams across FTR. Our team owns the consolidation of financial results, managing the forecasting process, and driving process efficiency across the FTR organization. A successful candidate will be able to effectively influence business partners, provide accurate reporting against fast deadlines, and manage competing priorities in a dynamic environment. Candidates should demonstrate strong verbal and written communication skills as direct interaction with leadership is common. Key job responsibilities Business Finance Support Responsible for delivering consolidated reporting of financial forecasting cycles utilizing financial systems and advance excel functions. Enhance existing financial reporting and design new dashboards for financial insights. Mechanize and streamline financial processes to promote consistent and accurate financial reporting. Identifies and implements solutions to resolve, improve, automate, or simplify finance processes. Proven ability to develop strategic relationships with your business partners and influence decisions. Makes thoughtful time management decisions independently. Prioritizes work, resolves issues, meets deadlines, and seeks feedback from your manager. Discerns between urgent and non‑urgent issues and acts accordingly to solve them. Communication You communicate data in a clear, concise, and unambiguous manner both verbally and in writing. You adjust communications based on audience and can articulate complex finance issues to non‑Finance partners. You have backbone and challenge business partner plans and assumptions when needed. You navigate across organizations and identify the right teams to participate in discussions. Team Leadership You take part in hiring and developing activities and mentor new team members. Basic Qualifications Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, business, economics, or a related analytical field (e.g., engineering, math, computer science) 5+ years of finance experience, or Master’s degree and 3+ years of finance experience Preferred Qualifications MBA, or CPA 5+ years of identifying incomplete or inaccurate data, identifying the root cause and creating/implementing an escalation plan experience 5+ years of solving complex business challenges by delivering accurate and timely financial models, analysis, and recommendations that have a proven impact on business (e.g., financial savings, operational improvements, or customer benefits) experience Experience working with large‑scale data mining and reporting tools (examples: SQL, MS Access, Essbase, Cognos) and other financial systems (examples: Oracle, SAP, Lawson, JD Edwards) Amazon is an equal opportunity employer and does not discriminate on the basis of protected veteran status, disability, or other legally protected status. The base pay for this position ranges from $85,900/year in our lowest geographic market up to $179,500/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job‑related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
