Role Purpose and Mission The Service Delivery AFR – Managerial is a key role within the Service Delivery Accounting & Financial Reporting team.
The mission of the role is to oversee and manage end-to-end managerial accounting, consolidation, and planning processes across the Campari Group, ensuring accurate, timely, and high-quality financial data that support strategic business decisions.
The role covers both actual and planning activities for managerial reporting, including budget, revised budget, and forecast scenarios. The resource ensures data quality, process efficiency, stakeholder alignment, and continuous improvement in managerial consolidation and reporting workflows.
Key Responsibilities And Activities
- Managerial Consolidation Process Management (Actual & Planning)
- Oversee the end-to-end managerial consolidation process of financial data across various business units and geographical locations, ensuring data quality meets the expectations of relevant internal stakeholders (Group FP&A, Regional FP&A, Local Finance Directors and House of Brands).
- Ensure that the consolidation process aligns with corporate timelines, finance models, and Group Finance requirements.
- Collaborate with finance teams across the organization (Local Finance, Regional Finance, Group FP&A and House of Brands) to gather, validate, and consolidate managerial financial data accurately.
- Support the implementation and optimization of consolidation SAP systems (BPC, S/4HANA, BW, SAC) to enhance efficiency and accuracy in the consolidation process.
- Manage both Actual and Planning scenarios, including Budget (BDG), Revised Budget (RB), and multiple Forecast cycles (FCST).
- Coordinate activities with the BPO delivery center to ensure quality, timeliness, and accuracy of consolidation deliverables.
- Provide Functional support to SAP implementation related to mergers, acquisition and new LE set-up, ensuring integration on FP&A reporting.
- Provide support to local team on submission data process.
- Data Quality, Validation & Controls
- Implement robust data validation and review processes to ensure accuracy and completeness of consolidated managerial data.
- Develop and maintain a comprehensive control framework for managerial consolidation, including reconciliation checks, variance analyses, and data integrity controls.
- Ensure alignment between managerial data, and between different reporting systems (S/4HANA, BW, BPC, SAC).
- Lead initiatives to improve data quality across managerial reporting processes, working closely with Local Finance, Group FP&A and House of Brands.
- Act as subject‑matter expert on supply‑chain and product costing topics, including CO‑PA allocations and logistic cost analysis.
- Leverage Control Tower framework to ensure recurring reconciliation is executed and assess any open point.
- Drive performance monitoring through KPI definition and tracking, ensuring adherence to service levels and quality standards.
- Stakeholder Management & Communication
- Act as the primary point of contact for managerial consolidation of matters with Group FP&A, Regional FP&A teams, Local Finance Directors, House of Brands, and other business stakeholders.
- Coordinate and communicate effectively with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment on managerial reporting requirements, timelines, and deliverables.
- Provide analytical support and business insights to stakeholders based on consolidated managerial data.
- Participate in closing and planning meetings with Group Finance stakeholders to discuss results, address issues, and align process improvements.
- Process Improvement & Innovation
- Identify and drive continuous improvement initiatives within managerial consolidation and planning processes, leveraging automation, system enhancements, and best practices.
- Support the implementation of new systems, tools, and methodologies (e.g., SAP BPC enhancements, integrated planning tools, automation initiatives)
