Commis de Rang (Room Service) – Season 2026 – TaorminaSan Domenico Palace, Taormina, a Four Seasons HotelAbout the RoleReporting into the Room Service Manager, you will be responsible for preparing food and beverage orders, delivering trolleys and trays to guests in their rooms according to standards as per the HACCP system. You will place food and beverage amenities in guest rooms, collect trolleys and trays from rooms in a timely manner, and support the Chef de Rang – Room Service as needed. You will describe the food and beverage selection to our guests, offering interesting and vivid descriptions of each item’s origin, taste and preparation methods.What You Will DoDeliver food orders including any special needs or requests to the guest in-room; check completed kitchen orders with the order taker or guest’s original order; transport items to the guest’s room in a timely manner to ensure proper food quality.Greet guests and describe selected items using vivid descriptions of origin, taste and preparation methods; communicate options for removal of trays and dishware; respond to tray removal requests according to established time standards.Break down, clean and set up room‑service tables, condiment set‑ups, flatware, dishware, and room‑service side stations.Anticipate guest needs, ascertain satisfaction, and offer suggestions, responding urgently and appropriately to guest concerns and requests.Properly and accurately close guest checks, securing room number and signature; properly settle voided checks or complimentary meals.What You BringHigh school education or equivalent experience.Minimum one year of food service or related work.Attention to detail, strong interpersonal and relationship‑building skills, the ability to multi‑task with excellent organizational skills, and a team‑player attitude with personal touch and energy for all In‑Room Dining experiences.Ability to carry and balance a tray.English; additional languages are appreciated.What We OfferCompetitive salary, wages, and a comprehensive benefits package.Excellent training and development opportunities.Complimentary dry cleaning for employee uniforms.Meals available at the employee restaurant.Employee experience initiatives: annual themed parties and numerous ESG events.Employee recognition programs.Opportunities to build a successful career with global potential.Schedule & HoursThis is a full‑time seasonal position.The candidate must have a flexible schedule and work weekends and holidays.This position is based at the San Domenico Palace in Taormina and requires legal right to work in Italy.#J-18808-Ljbffr
