Within the Aerostructures BU, for our Foggia site, we are looking for a Production Engineering Officer. The resource, inserted within the Production Engineering area, will be responsible for defining methods and equipment, numerical control and on-line activities, including the optimization and improvement of production processes and work cycles, contributing to the digitalization of line processes and workshop IT systems, aiming at efficiency and quality improvements as well as reducing industrial costs and will carry out the following activities:
- Support the industrialization of new products and processes
- Define and update production cycles, work phases and operational sequences
- Analyze times, methods, equipment and production layouts
- Identify continuous improvement opportunities according to Lean principles
- Collaborate with Production, Quality and Engineering to resolve process problems
- Collaborate in the integration of production IT systems
- Support the traceability of production documentation and work order management
- Support the management and analysis of data from CNC machines and testing systems
Degree / Technical diploma (Mechanical, Mechatronics, Industrial, IT or equivalent) or multi-year experience in a structured industrial environment
Junior/Expert
Knowledge of manufacturing production processes and work cycles
Ability to read technical drawings
Knowledge of CNC machines and control and testing processes
High proficiency and knowledge of IT systems and Office package
Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing concepts and continuous improvement
Ability to analyze production data and reporting
Ability to work in multidisciplinary teams
Aptitude for training and operational support
Good analytical and organizational skills
English language knowledge Level B1 - B2
Good knowledge of the Office package
It is a plus:
- Experience in complex manufacturing contexts
- Knowledge of IT software, preferably production engineering tools
- Knowledge of metallic and composite materials and advanced processing techniques
- Knowledge of monitoring, maintenance and traceability systems
