OverviewWe are looking for an Equipment & Facilities Manager to take technical and operational ownership of a startup cleanroom fab developing new photonic process concepts. This role is ideal for a highly hands-on leader who enjoys building things from the ground up—setting up tools, defining ways of working, and keeping a small, fast-moving fab running safely and reliably as processes evolve.What will you be doing?Act as the technical owner for cleanroom equipment and facilities in an R&D-scale fabWork hands-on with tools, including setup, troubleshooting, recovery, and day-to-day operationLead and support a small team of technicians and engineers, including training and knowledge transferCoordinate equipment installation, qualification, modification, and relocationManage preventive and corrective maintenance strategies suited to a startup environmentOwn EHS compliance, equipment certification, and safe operating proceduresPerform risk assessments and support FMEA for new equipment & processesManage spare parts, consumables, suppliers, and external service providersBuild & maintain documentation: maintenance records, SOPs, and equipment historiesSupport planning, scheduling, uptime targets, and continuous improvementWhat we need to see?Degree in Engineering or a scientific discipline, or equivalent hands-on experienceProven experience in a semiconductor, photonics, or cleanroom manufacturing environmentWorking knowledge of CMOS process flow and fab operationsStrong hands-on troubleshooting skills with a practical, problem-solving mindsetExperience coordinating teams, suppliers, and external service providersFamiliarity with risk analysis and FMEA methodologiesStrong organisational, planning, and communication skillsAbility to work effectively across technical, operational, and vendor-facing interfacesIntermediate or higher proficiency in spoken and written EnglishPlease contact Rachel Anderson for further details.#J-18808-Ljbffr
