Country Manager – Solar / BESS – Project DevelopmentHead of Project Development / Country ManagerItaly (remote)Circular Resourcing are partnered with a JV Development Platform looking to for a proactive Project Development Manager / Country Manager to drive forward their business in Italy.The company has been established in Italy for many years focusing on development and has launched a partnership with a manufacturer based in Europe to co-developer several Solar and BESS opportunities in Italy.Key DetailsLocation: Italy (with regular travel to project sites)Reporting to: CEOCompany OverviewEstablished renewable energy developer specializing in the Development and storage projects.Operating across development, financing, construction, and operations, the company values entrepreneurial spirit, adaptability, and a hands‑on approach to navigating the evolving energy landscape.Role OverviewAs Head of Project Development, you will lead the deployment of Solar & BESS activities across the region.You will oversee project development through a network of co-developers, ensuring projects reach Ready‑to‑Build status and progress through to construction. This is a strategic leadership role requiring strong technical, commercial, and stakeholder management capabilities.Key ResponsibilitiesLead and manage project development activities in Italy, coordinating with co-developers and reporting progress to senior leadership.Drive projects to RTB status by securing EPC contracts, offtake agreements, and financing.Prepare and submit projects for Italian energy tenders.Identify and manage local service providers based on project geography.Oversee project timelines and development expenditure (DevEx).Provide technical support during pre‑construction and construction phases, including subcontractor selection, testing, and commissioning.Ensure high‑quality reporting and documentation throughout the project lifecycle.Candidate ProfileA go‑getter who can build relationships and manage a growing pipeline of utility scale projects across Italy.Ideally Minimum 5 years of experience in Solar / BESS project development.Proven track record of managing complex infrastructure projects, preferably with experience in Italy.Seniority LevelMid‑Senior levelEmployment TypeFull‑timeJob FunctionBusiness Development, Engineering, and Project ManagementIndustriesServices for Renewable Energy and Semiconductor Manufacturing#J-18808-Ljbffr
