We are Startup Bakery , an Italian startup studio that builds B2B SaaS companies from scratch.We design and develop products that combine a simple and intuitive user experience, data-driven processes, and Artificial Intelligence, following a lean approach and focusing on solutions that generate real value and a positive impact on people and the planet .How We Work Trust & initiative – take ownership, experiment, and don’t be afraid of making mistakes.Work-life balance – results matter, not working hours.Flexibility – work remotely or join us at our Milan HQ whenever collaboration (and fun) is needed.Posizione : We are looking for a Freelance Backend Software Developer to collaborate on an innovative project developed by Startup Bakery.You will be responsible for designing and developing scalable backend solutions, working closely with product, data, and engineering teams.In a fast-moving and flexible environment, you will actively contribute to technical decisions and directly see the impact of your work.Key ResponsibilitiesDesign and develop scalable and reliable APIsContribute to the development of data-intensive and AI-driven backend systemsDevelop and manage databases and backend applicationsCollaborate with data scientists and other engineers to improve software solutionsEnsure high code quality, performance, and scalabilityRequisiti :Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field4+ years of experience as a Backend Software Engineer / DeveloperStrong proficiency in Node.js, PHP, Laravel, PythonKnowledge of Google Cloud Platform or AWSPostgreSQL, ElasticsearchExperience with version control systems (e.g. Git)Good written and spoken EnglishCollaborative mindset and ability to work effectively in a teamAltre informazioni :Freelance collaborationRemote-first, with optional access to our Milan office#J-18808-Ljbffr
