Collaborating with other experts and using your own knowledge from all over the globe, you will be responsible for creating attractive auctions every week. Catawiki strives to keep user transactions as transparent and fair as possible, and your expertise and experience play a large part in maintaining this standard; you know better than anyone what items are of interest to our users.You will review lot titles, descriptions, lot pictures, and provide users with an estimated value based on this information. If you need to reject a submission, you do so in a professional and courteous manner. Your efforts result in exceptional auctions that bidders will find irresistible.What You’ll DoEvaluate submissions: Review item descriptions, images, and details provided by sellers. Provide expert feedback and fair market value estimates.Curate auctions: Approve and edit listings to create compelling weekly fashion auctions that attract enthusiastic bidders.Build seller relationships: Engage with sellers in Europe, guiding them to create strong listings and ensuring a smooth selling experience.Expand the market: Identify and onboard new high-quality sellers through your professional network, trade fairs, and fashion communities.Ensure quality & compliance: Maintain Catawiki’s standards of transparency, authenticity, and trust across all listings.Collaborate cross-functionally:Support the Customer Service team with expert input in case of disputes.Partner with Marketing and Sales to drive visibility and bidder engagement.Contribute to strategies for growing Catawiki’s presence in the Japanese fashion market.What You’ll BringYou have a generalist knowledge of fashion products and you are specialized in clothing and shoes. Specialised in men’s fashion is a plus.You have a special place in your heart for pre-owned vintage, modern or shoes from luxury brands.You know how to detect an authentic vs a non authentic fashion piece.You thrive in a fast-paced environment and know how to work under pressure.You are a natural team player and thrive in a diverse team environment.Excellent English communication (both written and spoken).Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.Great computer skills necessary.An affinity for numbers and analyzing auction results is a plusWhere You’ll BeThe role can be based in the Netherlands, Italy, Spain or Portugal with a fully remote work-from-home arrangement.
