Role Summary The role of Senior Solution Architect is to take ownership of a solution within Warehouse Management System (WMS) implementation projects. The Solution Architect provides leadership and direction to the on-site implementation team on the design and execution of the solution and the definition of business process workflows that accompany the solution. ResponsibilitiesLeads WMS transformational projects and delivers the solution as the main point of contact Designs advanced creative solutions including integration and other technical aspects Drives end-to-end implementation of the WMS solution and integrations from design to go-live Leads design workshops for internal projects and participates in critical phases of partner implementations, providing recommendations on overall supply chain execution solution architecture, requirements, end-to-end workflows (WMS, TMS, WLM, WCS, Warehouse Automation / Robotics), and the integration needs within execution systems and host systems (ERP, Replenishment Planning, etc.) Partners with project managers in planning efforts Offers mentorship and product-level leadership to the broader Customer Success teamQualifications / SkillsProven techno-functional leadership of BlueYonder WMS implementations (relevant solutions consulting and implementation experience with other leading supply chain planning solutions may be considered) Strong domain knowledge of Supply Chain organisation within Retail, Manufacturing or 3PL Understanding or experience of agile methodologies concepts Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to drive discussions on both functional processes and technical concepts in a language understood across a diverse audience and multiple levels, including C-level Highly developed analytical and problem-solving skills; strong troubleshooting (application and technical) Good understanding of end-to-end execution workflows, architecture, integration, and project lifecycle with ability to define implementation plans, identify cross-functional dependencies; SQL, relational DB systems Experience with any programming language (ability to read and work with code) Windows / Unix basics; SQL experience Willingness to travel Fluent in English; German, French, Spanish or Italian fluency highly desirableWhat we offerHighly professional environment of top international industry experts Chance to work with best-in-class SCM solutions for leading Retail, Manufacturing, and Distribution companies Strong investment in employee skills development Excellent development abilities and potential for growth Clear independence and empowerment Permanent job contract Highly competitive salary and benefits packageOur Values Our values drive our success – and the success of our customers.
