PHYSICAL SECURITY ASSOCIATE MANAGER

For a leading international company, we are looking for a PHYSICAL SECURITY ASSOCIATE MANAGER You will join the team of CRE & Workspace and in particular in the HSEE & Maintenance team reporting directly to HSEE & Maintenance Senior Manager. As a Physical Security Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring the safety, security and integrity of company’s facilities, assets, and people by implementing and managing physical security standards across all sites and point of sales. Your main duties will include: Access control: oversee and enforce access control policies, including issuing and deactivating employee, contractor and visitor badges; manage restricted areas and ensure rapid exit procedures are enforced. Site security: protect company perimeters and internal facilities by performing risk assessments to protect sensitive or high-value assets. Security systems management:Administer and maintain automated access control systems. Ensure that video surveillance systems are operational, compliant with policies and legislation, and accessible by qualified personnel. Oversee planned preventive maintenance (PPM) and corrective actions for security and CCTV systems. Incident management: Ensure timely reporting of security incidents, support investigations, identify corrective and preventive actions, and maintain strict confidentiality. Special events: Coordinate with stakeholders to ensure physical security compliance during on-site events. Awareness and training: Serve as the point of contact (POC) for physical security requests (including competent authorities). Provide training and promote adherence to clear desk and physical security procedures. Collaboration: work closely with Group’s Physical Security & Safety Cluster Specialists and the broader Physical Security Team to align local practices with group-wide standards. Develop, implement and update the Physical Security management system in accordance with national and international regulations. Monitor compliance with physical security standards and ensure that the company operates in accordance with them. Carry out Risk Assessments and define prevention and protection measures to minimize accidents and losses. Monitor and analyze the company's physical security performance and prepare regular reports for management. Support continuous improvement projects aimed at reducing breach impact and improving security conditions. You have at least 5-8 years of experience in Physical Security management or corporate security operations and hold Security Manager (2nd level) qualifications as defined by UNI 10459:2017.; You have a degree in Legal Sciences of Security, Law, Security Engineering or equivalent; You have excellent knowledge of national and international regulations relating to Physical Security including the UNI EN ISO standard (i.e. ISO 27001, ISO 28000); You are proficient in English and Italian, both spoken and written; You have a strong results and problem-solving orientation; You know how to work in dynamic environments and manage complex situations; You have a proactive and continuous improvement-oriented approach; You are available for national and international travel; You have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, able to interact effectively with various levels of the company; You have analytical and organizational skills; You know how to work in a team and promote a corporate culture focused on physical security; You have B driving license. Preferrably, you also have: Specific Physical Security certifications (Lead Auditor ISO 27001, ISO 28000); Previous experience in the retail and/or logistics/manufacturing sector. Location: Milan Willingness to travel nationally and internationally is required.
