Descrizione Lavoro - Director, Technology Director, Product & Engineering
Main Challenges: Organizational Alignment at Scale: Maintaining execution speed, technical alignment, and strong culture across a 100+ person organization operating through multiple layers of management.
Balancing Tri-Sided Value Propositions: Harmonizing competing priorities between merchant demands (low fees, high SLAs), customer expectations (speed, precision), and fleet economic constraints (cost-per-parcel).
Real-Time AI Deployment: Operationalizing complex machine learning models in production
C-Suite Vision vs. Operational Realities: Managing C-level expectations and growth targets while navigating execution limitations.
Your main responsibilities: Business Strategy & Executive Stakeholder Management: Set the long-term delivery technology vision, align product roadmaps with commercial goals, establish OKRs, and present strategy directly to VP and C-level executives.
Merchant & Customer Value Propositions: Drive product strategy for the delivery ecosystem, creating high-converting merchant tools and transparent end-customer experiences
People Leadership: Lead, structure, and scale a 100+ person cross-functional organization of product managers, software engineers, data scientists, and engineering managers; drive organizational design, talent retention, and cross-team execution velocity.
AI & Applied Machine Learning: Lead the application of AI/ML models to solve core delivery problems.
Delivery Platform Infrastructure: Oversee cloud platform architecture.
Vision & Strategy: Define and execute the long-term Product & Engineering roadmap for Delivery Experience, balancing immediate operational goals with long-term technological vision.
AI & Product Innovation: Drive technological transformation by architecting and integrating agentic AI solutions into product flows to enhance system capabilities and product usability.
People Leadership: Operational Excellence: Overhaul workflows by instilling modern product management frameworks, establishing clear execution metrics, and embedding simulation-driven decision-making.
Cross-Functional Alignment: Act as the primary bridge between Product/Engineering, business units, and logistics operations to deliver value for both end-customers (B2C) and merchants (B2B).
Hands-on Problem Solving: Deep-dive into operational or technical bottlenecks when necessary to challenge the status quo and unblock delivery teams.
We are looking for: Proven Track Record of Measurable Outcomes: A technology leader with a quantifiable history of driving high-impact product results—delivering concrete improvements in delivery speed, merchant efficiency, conversion, and operational margins. You take full end-to-end ownership of outcomes, not just output or feature delivery.
Dual Product & Engineering Mastery: A strong software engineering foundation paired with sharp commercial instincts, enabling you to bridge complex technical architecture with long-term business strategy.
Domain Expertise in Logistics & Operations: Deep experience building and scaling consumer-facing delivery products, merchant logistics tools, or operations automation within high-scale e-commerce or delivery ecosystems.
Organizational Scaling & Operational Discipline: Demonstrated experience leading, structuring, and growing large product and engineering organizations, establishing operational efficiency, engineering rigour, and a high-accountability culture.
Bold Ownership & Strategic Execution: A decisive leader with the courage to make high-stakes architectural and product calls, navigate organizational complexity, and execute bold bets in a fast-paced environment.
Data Rigor & C-Suite Influence: Highly analytical mindset with a track record of leveraging data to drive strategic alignment, navigate matrixed stakeholders, and establish immediate credibility with executive leadership.
Executive Communication & English Fluency: Exceptional written and verbal English skills, capable of translating complex technology strategies into compelling narratives for C-suite leaders and cross-functional partners alike.
What we offer: Flexible working hours in the hybrid model (4/1) - our hours can start between 7:00 a.m. and 10:00 a.m. We also have 30 days of occasional remote work.
