We are looking for a MECHANICAL ENGINEER to join the R&D department. (S)he will be part of the Electronics department and will be in charge of designing, developing, and testing components for Alpinestars’ mechanical products. This role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure the hardware meets the highest standards of quality, performance, and reliability. Posizione MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES Design and develop mechanical components for electronic products using CAD program (CATIA) and additive manufacturing technology. FEM analysis recommended. Create detailed design specifications and drawings based on product requirements. Search and development of innovative components and technical solution Conduct simulations and prototyping to validate hardware designs. Collaborate with Software and HW electronic engineers to integrate hardware and software components with mechanical components. Ensure compliance with relevant industry standards and certifications. Lead proof test through internal laboratory. Requisiti QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering. Minimum of 5 years of experience in hardware design and part development in Automotive, Motorsport or Sport Equipment industry. Strong understanding of product development process. English level B2-C1. Proficiency in 3D CAD program (the knowledge of CATIA is a plus). Strong analytical skills and ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues. Excellent verbal and written communication skills to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams. Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
