We look forward to meeting you As IT System Engineer - Validation & Onboarding Specialist you will be responsible for: Leading and executing validation activities, including the preparation of Test Plans and Test Reports, to ensure the quality and reliability of our systems Managing and coordinating onboarding activities for new external companies and services, ensuring a smooth and effective integration into our platform Acting as a primary point of contact for external companies during the onboarding process, addressing their queries and providing necessary support Facilitating engagement meetings with new partners and stakeholders to foster strong collaborative relationships Supporting the integration of new services into our platform, acting as a technical facilitator between external companies and internal development teams Supporting corrective and evolutive maintenance activities, assisting the follow-up of technical teams, performing troubleshooting, and solving problems handling technical analysis Your skills: A Degree in Information Technology (IT), Engineering, Technical Sciences or equivalent is required 2/3 years of working experience in relevant aspects Working experience in software testing, with preparation of Test Plan and Test Report Knowledge of Linux/Unix Operating System environment, and scripting Knowledge of code versioning and CI/CD tools (Git, Jenkins, GitLab, etc..) Working experience with Programming languages (e.g. Python, etc.) Working experience in containerized applications (e.g. Docker) English Level B2 (Upper-Intermediate), written and spoken Desirables: Knowledge of Agile and DevOps practices Knowledge of containers orchestration (e.g. Kubernetes) Experience of System Engineering processes (e.g., ECSS standard) Working experience with Cloud infrastructure and pipeline deployment Capability of writing technical documentation (e.g., Procedures, Technical Notes, Interface Control Document, System Design Document) Knowledge of Earth Observation satellite data product formats Knowledge of Destination Earth (DestinE) programme Critical thinking and self-organization skills            About Serco: Serco is a leading Space Services Provider with thousands of skilled resources that has supported over 50 space missions on behalf of more than 10 Space or Government agencies around the globe, including the likes of ESA, CNES, EUMETSAT, EUSPA, ASI and NASA.
