Run what runs the world.This Position reports to :Service Team LeaderYour Role and ResponsibilitiesYou will be responsible for commissioning and maintaining ABB Marine Azipod propulsion units. You will ensure that commissioning and service activities are completed efficiently and cost-effectively in accordance with specifications standards and safety requirements.Work model : #Li-OnsiteIn this role youll help run what runs the world by taking on meaningful work that drives real impact as you will be accountable for :Commissioning and Maintenance of ABB Marine Azipod systems including installation supervision startup testing and acceptance in collaboration with classification societies and customers.Handling Warranty and Service Calls on operating vessels ensuring timely and effective support.Continuous Improvement by providing feedback on commissioning activities and suggesting solutions to meet business and customer needs.Project Delivery and Documentation ensuring quality following ABB procedures and preparing all required reports post-assignment.Compliance and Communication adhering to ABB policies and reporting opportunities or issues to management.Qualifications for the RoleBachelors or masters degree in electrical Power Engineering or Automation with over 2 years of experience in commissioning or servicing relevant systems. Shipbuilding experience and ABB product knowledge are a plus.You have a strong ability to read and interpret technical documents (e.g. datasheets electrical drawings P&ID diagrams) and good understanding of industrial and marine power generation / distribution processes.You are familiar with MS Office and preferably ABB-specific tools.You are at ease communicating in English and Italian and willingness to travel globally on short notice by various means of transport.
