Hauptaufgaben

Incumbent administers the Host Nation police escorts request processes for US Army movements and training events within Italy, via four Status of Requirement (SOR) agreements with the Italian Police attached to SETAF-AF, Camp Darby, and various territorial organizations. Plans, allocates, consolidates, and prioritizes police escort requirements to accommodate customer units' missions to the maximum extent. He/she processes diplomatic clearances for all US forces ground movements transiting in/out of Italy, to ensure Host Nation guidance is followed. Coordinates with various local Italian road authorities to exempt military convoys from paying tolls on highways and recovery operations. Informs the EU COM Theater via 21st TSC Theater Movements Center on any Host Nation changes affecting transit and diplomatic clearance requirements for entering/leaving Italy. Assists the Italian National Movement Control Center (NMCC) officer to coordinate with other countries' Defense Attache' Office (DAO) and NMCC offices to solve any complex issues resulting from military movements crossing countries' borders as required. Provides daily direction, control and specific guidance and instructions pertaining to movement control operations and specific ongoing support missions to TOA MCOs engaged in planning, coordinating and monitoring of DOD and other US sponsored cargo and passenger movements within, into and out of Vicenza/Aviano/Livorno/Kosovo. Serves as a point of contact for military movements between Host Nation Government Agencies and US Forces in Italy. Analyzes how Host Nation Government Agencies' policies and procedures will impact US Forces mobility within Italy; advocate for revisions as required. Incumbent coordinates through the Traffic Manager, related personnel actions, recommendations for hiring actions, disciplinary matters and work related performance awards. Manages the timekeeping and SCUDOnline local national timekeeping digital system. Monitors fund control authority (FCA) of TOA MCOs to ensure compliance with appropriate regulations.
Tour of duty: 40 hours per week, Monday through Friday, from 0800 to 1700, including a 1-hour uncompensated lunch break.

Qualifikationsanforderungen

MINIMUM QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS: Applicants must meet the qualification requirements in the Qualification Standards Handbook as summarized below.
  
EXPERIENCE: Applicants must have a minimum of 1 year of Specialized Experience equivalent to at least the UA-02 grade level.
Specialized Experience is experience that equipped the applicant with the particular knowledge, skills, and abilities to successfully perform the duties of the position, and that is typically in or related to the work of the position to be filled.
