Job Description Accounting Analyst Rome, Italy We are looking for an Accounting Analyst to join our Intermediation Accounting team within the Finance Business Operations organization. The role is responsible for ensuring the accurate execution of billing, accounting, and reconciliation processes related to the Acquiring business (card transactions and related fees). You will act as a bridge between Finance, Accounting, and Operations, ensuring accuracy, efficiency, and structured reporting to management. Day-to-Day Responsibilities Monitor and coordinate the active billing process for WLMS clients, ensuring completeness and accuracy. Manage and analyze general ledger postings related to acquiring transactions. Support month-end closing activities and prepare reconciliations and accounting reports. Provide analytical reports and KPIs to support management decisions. Collaborate with Operations and Business teams to align financial and accounting flows. Contribute to continuous improvement and automation initiatives within Finance. Who Are We Looking For Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Economics, Accounting, or Management Engineering. 3–4 years of experience in accounting, finance operations, or billing (preferably in the payments or financial services industry). Strong knowledge of general accounting and active billing processes. Advanced SAP knowledge (mandatory). Excellent Excel and data analysis skills. Fluency in English (B2 level or higher). Solid 3–4 years’ accounting experience within structured or complex organizations. Previous experience in consulting or auditing firms. Experience in reporting and reconciliation activities. Knowledge of Business Intelligence tools (e.g., Power BI, Business Objects). Familiarity with
