Leasing Consultant

The primary responsibility of the Leasing Consultant is to assist with activities involved in the successful day-to-day operation of the community, with a strong emphasis on rent collection, screening prospective tenants, 7 day notices, section 8 contracts and leasing. MUST KNOW BUILDIUM SOFTWARE.Manages all aspects of the Accounting for the property, including, but not limited to, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Collection, and Statement of DepositsMaintains and completes property management software information, including move-ins and move-outs, notices to vacate, resident transfers, lease renewals, lease changes, household and occupant demographics, search tag information, application approval/rejections, cancellations, etcAdministers the lease renewal program; Generates and balances month-end reports produced by the property management programGenerates and delivers general correspondence to residents, vendors, and prospective residents, such as lease violations, certificates of insurance updates, application rejection letters, etcInspects the condition of move-outs promptly to document charges before reconciling security depositsCommunicates with co-workers, management, residents, vendors, and all outside contacts in a courteous and professional mannerMaintains confidentiality of co-workers, management, owners, past and current residents, vendors, and all outside contactsPlans, organizes, promotes, and implements resident functions with the management staffPerforms general office duties: answers the telephone; writes service requests, newsletters, files, monitors, orders office supplies and printed materials, etcAssists in the leasing capacity when needed by providing thorough knowledge to prospective residents on the apartment, community, and local area; tours future residents; and processes rental applications for approvalOversees all service and capital contracts for timeliness and workmanshipAdheres to established policies related to the Fair Housing Act; compliant with all company, local, state, and federal safety regulations and confirms all parties adhere to health and safety standards to promote a healthy and safe work environmentMaintains consistent and timely attendance and sets a punctual example for their teamPerform other job-related duties as assignedStand; walk; sit; use hands to finger, handle or feel; reach with hands and armJob Type: Full-timePay: $18.00 - $25.00 per hourBenefits:401(k) matchingPaid time offRetirement planExperience:Residential Property management: 3 years (Required)Of Excel: 3 years (Required)License/Certification:Driver's License (Required)Work Location: In person#J-18808-Ljbffr
