Systems Engineer (Defence) in Rome STAM is currently recruiting a talented and enthusiastic Systems Engineer to join its Defence team in Rome. ResponsibilitiesWork on projects in the Defence domain. Engage in consulting activities supporting the lifecycle of complex systems: requirements definition, design, implementation, testing, acceptance; focus on C4ISR Systems, land and naval combat system, M&S Systems, Telecommunications Systems. Support the team in Bid Engineering activities: analyzing tender objectives, defining technical proposals, integrating innovative ideas on emerging and disruptive technologies. Screen tender requirements on selective relevant opportunities, reviewing and extracting key information.RequirementsAt least a Bachelor’s degree in Electronics, Telecommunication Engineering, Computer Science or equivalent. At least 1 year experience (but not mandatory) in requirements analysis and specification; analysis and implementation of customer’s requirements; system design architecture and integration; knowledge on testing activities and acceptance/qualification process. Good teamwork, communication and interpersonal skills. Critical thinking, problem‑solving and attention to detail.
