Lead thedevelopmentofinnovative estersandfunctional ingredientsin this exciting new role that just opened at one of the most recognized multinationals in the cosmetic industry.Reporting directly to the Product Development Director and the R&D Manager, you'll beat the heart of updating and developing the cosmetic ingredients portfolio: selecting promising ingredients and helping to scale-up from lab to plant.This is an opportunity with aninternational scope As a Senior R&D Chemist you will be based at the italian HQ, between Bergamo and Milan, but will play an active role inteam-working and sharing knowledge across global équipes abroad. What You'll DoIdentify and evaluate new cosmetic ingredientsSynthesis of new ingredientsCollaborate with Product Management to assess feasibility and market relevanceSupport scale-up from lab to plant and troubleshoot implementationEngage with cross-functional teams across Italy and the UK RequirementsDegree in Organic Chemistry 5+ years of direct experience in research and development of cosmetic raw materials/ingredientsExpertise in esters and functional ingredient chemistryExperience scaling up from lab to plantFluent in Italian and English
