Public Relations Manager, Amazon Ads Comms Job ID: | Amazon.com Services LLC Amazon Ads is seeking an experienced PR Manager to lead corporate reputation initiatives across our global advertising business. In this role, you'll develop and execute both proactive and reactive communications strategies that protect and enhance Amazon Ads reputation among key industry stakeholders, including advertisers, agencies, publishers, and industry analysts. Key job responsibilitiesLead the development and implementation of proactive PR strategies to position Amazon Ads as an industry thought leader and trusted partner Manage reactive communications and crisis response for issues impacting Amazon Ads' reputation Build and maintain relationships with top-tier advertising, marketing, and business media outlets and reporters Create compelling narratives around Amazon Ads' business strategy, product innovations, and customer success stories Collaborate with executive leadership to develop authentic positioning and messaging Partner with internal teams including Product PR, Corporate Communications, Policy, Legal, and Marketing to ensure consistent messaging across all external touchpoints Prepare executives for media interviews, speaking opportunities, and industry events Monitor industry trends, competitive landscape, and public sentiment to identify reputation opportunities and risks Measure and report on the effectiveness of reputation management strategiesBasic Qualifications7+ years of recent professional communications or public relations experience Bachelor's degree Experience communicating results to senior leadership Proven track record managing proactive and reactive communications for a global business Strong media relationships with relevant business and trade publications Demonstrated ability to develop strategic communications plans that drive business resultsPreferred QualificationsExperience with advertising publishers and marketing/creative agencies Experience completing complex tasks quickly with little to no guidance and react with appropriate urgency to situations that require a quick turnaround, or experience prioritizing and handling multiple assignments at any given time while maintaining commitment to deadlines Understanding of programmatic advertising, retail media, and the broader digital advertising environment Track record of translating complex technical concepts into compelling narrativesAmazon is an equal opportunity employer and does not discriminate on the basis of protected veteran status, disability, or other legally protected status. The base pay for this position ranges from $114,000/year in our lowest geographic market up to $188,500/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
