In the aim of expanding the ETCS On Board System Engineering Team, AngelStar is looking for a candidate to work in the system engineering activities for the ETCS OBU development and integration with country-specific ATP systems as well as in projects for the specific application of ETCS on‑board systems into rail vehicles.ResponsibilitiesIdentifying and analysing the input documentation and Customer / generally applicable requirementsIdentifying the functions, the architecture and the interfaces of the on board signalling system being the transportation standard in Italy and all over EuropeCreation of concepts, system requirements specifications and architectures at system / subsystem levelDesigning the system and its configuration, developing the relevant documentationInterfacing the Customer and the other partnersParticipating to the meetings with development team of AngelStar and other partnerApplying processes, methods & tool in accordance to AngelStar standardsCarrying out the system integration activities in lab and on fieldSupporting laboratory tests and on-site activitiesTechnical Skills, Qualifications and Professional ExperienceDegree in Mechanical or Electronic EngineeringExperience of at least 2 years in the railway industry preferably with the role of Systems Engineer and / or Designer focused on Board SystemsBasic knowledge of the disciplines related to the On Board Systems design : applicable norms, ETCS OBU function and architecture, European Technical StandardsKnowledge of the main regulations relating to on-board systems in the railway businessRelated knowledge of the basic concepts of the RAMS disciplines is an advantageKnowledge of the main office automation software / tools (Word, Excel, etc.)Basic knowledge of the IBM DOORS requirements management toolKnowledge of Engineering Processes and Railway OperationsAbility to work effectively with all levels of the organisation, with the attitude to contribute with constructive and practical ideasReadiness to work effectively in a collaborative, fast-paced, multitasking international environmentAbility to work autonomously in teams and for projects is requiredAvailability for short-term national and international business trip#J-18808-Ljbffr
