This role involves strategic leadership, technical expertise, and a collaborative mindset to achieve excellence in Sport and Entertainment applications.ResponsibilitiesTeam Leadership and Coordination: Guide and mentor a team of iOS Engineers, ensuring seamless collaboration and maximizing productivity.Technical Ownership: Define and oversee the architecture of digital solutions, making critical decisions to ensure scalability, reliability, and performance.End-to-End Delivery: Manage projects from conception through to completion, ensuring solutions align with aesthetic and functional excellence.Feature Development: Lead the development of innovative user-facing features for iOS and Apple TV using Swift, promoting reusable components and libraries.Optimization: Ensure maximum performance across a diverse range of devices, optimizing applications for mobile, tablet, and TV screen sizes.Agile Collaboration: Drive Agile development practices, including Scrum methodologies, to enhance project workflow.Technical Best Practices: Promote adherence to Deltatre Engineering procedures, code conventions, and best practices, fostering a culture of high-quality output.Knowledge Sharing: Lead efforts to keep the team updated with the latest technology trends and opportunities in UI engineering.Stakeholder Communication: Facilitate clear communication between development teams, product owners, and business stakeholders to ensure alignment.RequirementsProven track record of leading development teams and driving technical projects successfully.Strong proficiency in Swift and SwiftUI (1+ years)In-depth knowledge of Apple system frameworks such as Foundation, UIKit, AVFoundation, StoreKit, and more.Experience with Unit Testing (XCTest) and instrumentation testing.Excellent planning, estimation, and delivery skills, ensuring robust, modular, and testable code.Familiarity with Git, build automation systems, and continuous integration tools.Fluent in verbal and written English, with experience collaborating in a global environment.Previous experience with Apple TV development, Facebook SDK, Fabric, Crashlytics, and In-App Purchase is a plus.We’re looking for someone who is:driven to push the boundaries and lead change and performancecommunicative to leave no-one in the dark and to work with your team successfullyreliable so we know that we can call on you to meet deadlinespassionate about the latest technologies and standardsproactive to suggest improvements, identify and fix potential issuessolid technically speaking, to advise both Clients and internal teamsOur people are key to our success and we pride ourselves on offering a dynamic, creative, innovative and supportive environment.
