The Amazon Devices group delivers delightfully unique Amazon experiences, giving customers instant access to everything, digital or physical.Key job responsibilitiesAs a Technical Program Manager, you will engage with an experienced cross‑disciplinary staff to conceive and design innovative software solutions that will form a core part of Amazon Devices. You will work a cross‑functional engineering team driving programs from design to launch. You will be expected to have strong technical deep dive skills especially in building scalable distributed systems using AWS, excellent project management skills, great communication skills and a motivation to achieve results in a fast‑paced environment.A day in the lifeIn this role, you will:Work with key stakeholders in product management & partner engineering teams to define strategy and requirementsDrive development of a critical new program from concept through launchWork with partner teams to deliver supporting software and services in sync with launch time‑linesCommunicate regularly with senior management on status, risks and change controlBasic Qualifications7+ years of working directly with engineering teams experience5+ years of technical product or program management experience3+ years of software development experience5+ years of technical program management working directly with software engineering teams experienceExperience managing programs across cross functional teams, building processes and coordinating release schedulesExperience owning/driving roadmap strategy and definitionPreferred Qualifications5+ years of project management disciplines including scope, schedule, budget, quality, along with risk and critical path management experienceExperience managing projects across cross functional teams, building sustainable processes and coordinating release schedulesExperience defining KPI's/SLA's used to drive multi‑million dollar businesses and reporting to senior leadershipOur inclusive culture empowers Amazonians to deliver the best results for our customers.
