With a workforce of over 3.300 professionals across its offices in Europe and around the world, Telespazio operates an international network of Space Centres and Teleports, offering cutting-edge solutions in Geoinformation Services, Satellite Systems and Operations, and Satellite Communications.Join us as we continue to push the boundaries of what’s possible in Space.The selected candidate will be based at Telespazio’s headquarters in Rome and will be responsible for the design, construction, and delivery of infrastructure systems for teleports and satellite ground stations, including antenna foundations, buildings, equipment rooms, electrical plants, and HVAC systems.Main Tasks and ResponsibilitiesDesign infrastructure systems for satellite communications ground stations, including Data Centers, Control Rooms, antenna foundations, and internal building layout upgradesSupervise construction phases related to infrastructure and facility implementationDevelop projects for the upgrade of facility utilities and auxiliary systems, including: Electrical power distribution systems - HVAC and air conditioning systems - Access control systems - Fire detection systemsDefine structured data cabling for operational areasPrepare technical and commercial proposals for tendersMain ActivitiesPerform requirements analysisDevelop layouts for building upgradesDefine infrastructure architecture and technical specifications, including related plant upgradesPrepare technical documentation such as technical notes, product technical specifications, and statements of workProvide technical management of infrastructure projectsManage procurement activities from a technical perspectiveCoordinate and technically manage subcontractorsMonitor and control project progress with respect to planned schedules and costsManage construction, installation, integration, and testing activitiesRequired Qualifications and SkillsDegree in Civil Engineering or Mechanical EngineeringStrong aptitude for technical project management and teamworkPassion for the space sectorAbility to produce clear and structured technical documentationGood knowledge of AutoCADFluent written and spoken EnglishAvailability to travel worldwide for limited periods (including, but not limited to, Telespazio Teleports)Preferred Qualifications and SkillsKnowledge of civil works technologiesKnowledge of HVAC and thermal system principlesKnowledge of electrical power distribution systemsExperience in using AutoCAD for building layouts and utility plant diagramsExperience in developing project documentation (Technical Notes, Product Technical Specifications, Statements of Work)Knowledge and application of safety regulations (D.Lgs. 81/08)What We OfferA stimulating and dynamic working environment with flexible working hoursHybrid working (onsite and off-site)Meal voucher, company canteen and employee welfare programsFree access to online learning platform with courses from top universitiesOpportunities for international experiencesWhy TelespazioAt Telespazio, the well-being, safety, and development of our people are at the heart of our corporate culture.
