Thanks to our diversity of skills, talents and cultures, our customers (governments, institutions, space agencies, telecommunications operators) have the space to connect, secure & defend, observe & protect, explore, travel & navigate.We are looking for a Mission Operations Engineer.Key DutiesDefinition of Mission Scenarios and execution of Operations analysisAnalysis of nominal and contingency scenariosDefinition and development of spacecraft operational modes and mode transitionDevelopment of Mission timelinesExecution of Failure Detection, Isolation and Recovery analysisDevelopment of Spacecraft nominal and off‑nominal proceduresSupport Flight Segment and Ground Segment development and system tests executionRequired Skills, Experience and QualificationsMaster degree in Aerospace Engineering with specific competences in the following areasGood Knowledge of Matlab environment and suiteUnderstanding of spacecraft operational conceptsUnderstanding of autonomy concepts and FDIR approachAvailability to support SW team in definition and validation of SW requirementsGood attitude towards system level analysis, synthesis and problem solvingExcellent knowledge of English language (spoken and written)Good attitude towards teaming and multi-disciplinary approaches.About Thales Alenia SpaceWe employ around 8,900 staff across 10 countries with 17 sites in Europe and a plant in the US.
