Aero Alliance Shop Operations Supervisor

OverviewIn the role of Shop Operations Supervisor, you will perform the daily operations of the Avenza plant to ensure reliability and consistency on the production line. Includes Service Shops. Impacts quality of own work and the work of others on the team. Executes standard operational/technical tasks typically subject to instructions and work routines. There is latitude to rearrange the sequence to complete task/duties based on changing work situations. The role is intended to be performed on 3 shifts (Night, Day, Afternoon) and is intended for graduated candidates with proven experience in managing shifts in a production environment.ResponsibilitiesCoordinate and supervise shop operations team, following the directions of the Planning and Manufacturing Engineering Department and Ops LeaderCoordinate consistent and effective shift-to-shift transitionManage people presence in terms of absence hours within the shiftVerify the completeness and the correctness of the documents (cycles, test plan, drawings)Make sure that all team members follow the safety rules (HSE)Organize talks on HSE issues, Quality, and improvement initiatives (i.e., Friday Projects)Collaborate with quality inspections on resolution of NonconformityMake sure that the tools and equipment used are properly replaced at each workstationSupport operators activities with expertise and facilitating technical discussion with UTOF and Engineering DepartmentSupport line performance KPIs guarantying line accounting (i.e. DL hours, Inefficiencies, attendance…)Qualifications/RequirementsBachelor’s Degree in Engineering, or equivalent experienceHigh-energy, self-motivated, willing to take on responsibilities across functions and teams boundaries.Strong oral and written communication skills.Fluent in Italian and EnglishEU work permitDesired CharacteristicsInterpersonal and facilitation skills with the ability to influence othersExcellent time management skillsAbility to effectively prioritize and manage multiple tasks and priorities.Superior listening skillsNoteThis is an Evergreen position - the Talent Acquisition Specialist will contact selected suitable candidates as soon as possible.Additional InformationRelocation Assistance Provided: No#J-18808-Ljbffr
