You will guide a team in designing and implementing scalable AI systems, including APIs, RAG architectures, and agentic frameworks while shaping the future of our AI for SMBs. You’ll work in an agile environment, with the latest technologies including AI-based coding assistants, and have the freedom to bring your ideas to life.Key ResponsibilitiesLead and mentor a team of Applied AI Engineers, fostering growth, collaboration, and technical excellenceDesign and implement scalable AI powered software solutions, with a focus on APIs, RAG architectures, and agentic frameworksBuild and deploy agentic AI systems using tools such as MCP servers and APIsIntegrate AI software solutions into existing environments and workflows, ensuring seamless operation and optimal performanceTest, monitor and deploy software solutions that meet business needsParticipate in code reviews to ensure code quality and consistencyDrive AI adoption across the organization as a recognized technical expert and thought leaderIdeal Profile5+ years of experience in software engineering, including 2+ years in a technical lead or management roleStrong proficiency in Python (e.g. FastAPI, Flask) and expertise in microservices and event-driven architectures (e.g. Kafka, SSE, WebSocket)Deep understanding of Large Language Models (LLMs) including fine-tuning, prompt engineering, and hands-on expertise with models such as GPT, Claude, GeminiPractical experience with vector databases (e.g. OpenSearch, FAISS) for similarity and semantic searchProven ability to deploy and scale RAG systems and AI agents in a production environmentSkilled in implementing conversational AI systems using APIs such as OpenAI Chat Completion and AssistantsStrong problem-solving, communication, and documentation skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across teamsNice to HaveExperience building multi-hop RAG systems with self-consistency and chain-of-thought promptingKnowledge of AIOps / MLOps best practices, including deploying and monitoring real-time inference models and ETL pipelinesExperience with distributed data tools (e.g. Spark, Dask, Apache Beam)Familiarity with cloud platform technologies (e.g. AWS, Azure, GCP)Right to WorkAt any stage, please be prepared to provide proof of eligibility to work in the country you’re applying for.
