TEST LABORATORY ENGINEER Purpose of the Job -He/she carries out type, validation, or investigation tests, and preparing reports -He/she defines and implements the most appropriate testing methodology and means of testing -He/she develops test operating modes and analyses test results Position in the Organisation Organisation Reporting Hierarchical and Functional : He/she reports to the Test Laboratory Manager Network & Links Internal Interfaces : Project Validation Manager, TTL – Test team Leader, Validation Engineers, Test Laboratory Manager, Test Engineers External Interfaces : Subcontractors, Test laboratories Missions Performance Measurement/KPI’s Relevant part of the QCD Responsibilities Accountable for : Defining the most appropriate test methodology, testing means and developing the test operating mode in accordance with the costs time and pass-fail criterion set for the test. Responsible for : -Preparing the execution of the tests he/she is responsible for -Participating in the design and the development of the tools necessary for performing the tests -Implementing, verifying (functional), and ensuring compliance (calibration) of the measuring equipment to be ready at the time of the test. -Preparing the equipment for testing. Validating that the applied configuration and prerequisite testing allows the testing to proceed. -Respecting EHS rules notably implementing LockOut-TagOut instruction. -Supervising and/or executing test activities, analyzing test results “live” and deciding if test must be redone or not. Test results data analysis, writing static and dynamic test reports. Job Specifications Knowledge & Experience Experienced in ISO 17025 advantagerous Mechanical / Electro-technical / Electrical knowledge Tests organization capability, knowledge of planning tools Shall input REX from Validation standpoint notably on validation methods/tools improvement (from a quality, duration and cost point of view) on his/her scope of activities in particular to decrease the time spent on trains You don’t need to be a train enthusiast to thrive with us.
