OverviewWe are seeking an Inside Sales Engineer with a background in control‑safety valves & process heat tracing. The role involves the offering and selling of complete product solutions, aiming to provide the highest standards of customer service.Key ResponsibilitiesPrepare technical and commercial offers and sell complete product solutions; provide commercial and technical support to customers; provide the highest standards of customer service following company values and complying with sales targets.Qualify customer requests for quotation to ensure that a quote will meet the customers’ application and operational needs.Prepare customer quotations that are on time, technically accurate, commercially verified, offering the best all‑round solution.Follow‑up on quotations with customers as agreed with the Area Sales Managers.Negotiate sales orders within agreed delegation of authority.Maintain accurate and complete records of quotation status.Ensure that purchase orders are commercially complete and accurate before processing for order entry in accordance with relevant procedures.Provide advice on technical solutions and benefits.Provide after‑sales service to customers.Attending customer meetings as required.Ensure activities are carried out in line with agreed departmental KPIs.Attend relevant technical and commercial trainings as required to maintain a high level of product and process knowledge, including new products and services.Comply with local and international GIS trade compliance and Quality Management procedures, as well as GIS policy, with respect to all business activities.Additional ResponsibilitiesProvide advice on technical solutions and benefits.Provide after‑sales service to customers.Attending customer meetings as required.Ensure activities are carried out in line with agreed departmental KPIs.Attend relevant technical and commercial trainings as required to maintain a high level of product and process knowledge, including new products and services.Comply with local and international GIS trade compliance and Quality Management procedures, as well as GIS policy, with respect to all business activities.RequirementsTechnical Background: Mechanical or Electrical Engineering bachelor's degree or equivalent in a relevant field.Control‑Safety Valves & Process Heat Tracing background.Electrical Motor and Electric Components / Instrumentation would be considered a plus.Professional Experience: Minimum 5 years' experience in sales or project engineering or industrial field‑plant service maintenance.Languages: Fluent in Italian (mandatory), Fluent in English (mandatory).Strong communication and interpersonal skills (teamwork).Strong commercial attitude, capable of managing multi‑products.Excellent computer skills – Microsoft and product sizing software.Cultural fit: Identify yourself with our PIE Values: Passion, Integrity and Etiquette; Passion for our strengths: sourcing, procurement and supply chain; Sincere attitude; Ambassador of etiquette towards internal and external stakeholders; Multicultural teamwork in an international context; Curious mindset towards continuous improvement, efficiency and problem solving.What do we offerWorking in a growing organization with an open and flat structure.A market competitive compensation.Full training during the first weeks.The opportunity to develop in an international environment (growth path options).#J-18808-Ljbffr
