PipeCare Group is looking for the Regional Director (Europe) to oversee operational activities for all ongoing contracts at his Territory locations. By providing technology and service focused solutions to the international arena of the oil and gas industry, the PipeCare Group of companies has been helping the customers ensure the integrity of their pipeline and facility assets for over 20 years. Position Summary The Regional Director is responsible for overseeing operational activities for all ongoing contracts at his Territory locations. The role is to manage the project management team, to ensure the completion of projects within budget and as per scheduled timeframes. The Regional Director ensures that all Project Managers (PM) and field personnel in his Territory maintain and follow PIPECARE corporate standards and operational procedures. The Regional Director ensures adherence to established and approved processes and HSE standards. S/he oversees continuous improvement and crisis management for all operationally related issues of his territory. The Regional Director must ensure organizational effectiveness by providing leadership, guidance, support and back-up to the territory office and field team as needed. S/he is responsible for identifying and putting seconds in command and ensuring ongoing succession planning for the sake of business continuity and operational delivery. S/he will be often called upon to contribute to development and implementation of organizational strategies, policies and practices as well as regulatory compliance. As a proactive team member, the Regional Director is expected to establish a high level of credibility, build close working relationships with PIPECARE’s internal team as well as all external parties; he should endeavor to add value where and when needed within the organization and to preserve the credibility and reputation of PIPECARE. Job Functions, Responsibilities & Authorities Ability to travel extensively within the assigned territory (up to 50% of the time).Develop an in-depth knowledge and understanding of PIPECARE’s corporate standards, policies, regulations, core services, targets, client relations and other important indicators Manage the regional sales team and provide guidelines to the sales team on pursuing opportunities and leads Manage the Operations Department and ensure the proper corporate procedures and documentation are being followed by the field personnel and PM in his/her territory. Be responsible for the project’s execution within PIPECARE assigned territories. Maintain overall First Tool Run Success Rate at a minimum of 95% Play a vital role in ensuring that day-to-day operations run smoothly, safely and at maximum productivity. Enforce compliance with operational systems, processes and policies in support of PIPECARE’s strategic objectives Develop the proper communication channels between the Territory and the corporate office through ERP and regular reporting. Oversee shared support services to ensure the region receives needed administrative support and is compliant Update the Reference list (Completed vs. In progress projects) monthly and share with sales Coordinate with sales on incoming projects & potentially urgent requirements Handle critical budgetary arrangements Provide monthly KPIs. Ensure FIRs and Tool Condition Reports are submitted (as part of QA/QC) Alignment of Data Analysis (DA) plan with Project requirements & priorities Oversight of QA/QC for incoming data Oversight of QA/QC for valid ERP updates Support recruitment, assessment, decisions on Projects manpower Ensure QA/QC that invoices are accepted and in queue for collection, support Finance on technical matters Liaison with other departments on potential requirements by Projects Request and review periodic reports, support better periodic and ad hoc reporting, information flow and organizational planning. Ensure quality & HSE procedures are applied and followed during projects preparation and execution in all PIPECARE projects. Communicate daily with Regional Heads to review daily activities and Projects’ progress Cooperate with other PIPECARE departments to ensure that the organization benefits from lessons learned on projects encourage continuous improvement. Maintain PIPECARE’s competitive edge in the market with regards to effective, accurate and timely project delivery Ensure proper project closing through collection of all documents related to customer feedback, project completion certification, invoices, and collection plan Assure customer satisfaction throughout the project’s execution Timely and accurate reporting to Deputy CEO on operational activities, invoicing, collection Make sure all the technical documents prepared by PMs are according to the corporate standards Execute all other tasks as requested by the Executive ManagementSkills/ExperienceMinimum Bachelor’s Degree in any field of Business, Finance, or Technical Science Min 5 years of operation planning experience in the Oil and Gas sector and at least 3 years’ experience in managing P&L Ideally, possesses a working knowledge of engineering challenges in the pipeline environment and will have worked on projects covering ILI, Pipeline Inspection, Integrity, Pigging, Cleaning, Freezing, Hydro-testing Experience of managing a large, motivated team and overseeing the operations of a region Solid IT & Computer skills, with a specialist knowledge of Oil & Gas Software and Equipment - Microsoft Office is essential Fluency in English. Fluency in the language of the Territory or main country where projects are performed is an advantagePhysical and Mental RequirementsLifting and Carrying: Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds Mobility: Must be able to walk and climb to perform duties, including maneuvering within a refinery or plant environment and accessing elevated platforms via ladders and stairwells Communication: Sufficient clarity of speech and hearing, or other communication capabilities, to communicate effectively Focus and Multitasking: Ability to maintain focus and multitask effectively Safety Equipment: Must be able to wear safety equipment as required by the safety department for personal protection, if/where needed in manufacturing environments.
