To strengthen its internal structure, VCUBE S.r.l., a SYS-DAT Group company based in Reggio Emilia, is seeking: We are looking for a VMware Systems Engineer to work both at our office in Reggio Emilia and at our client sites in the Emilia region, between Parma and Bologna. The ideal candidate should be a proactive individual eager to continue growing, regardless of their current level, capable of working collaboratively with colleagues and making a positive and distinctive contribution to the entire team. Requirements Several years of experience with Microsoft or Linux, preferably in an enterprise environment Many years of experience managing a virtualization infrastructure based on VMware v Sphere 5.x/6.x Proficiency in installing and upgrading the v Sphere/v Center virtualization platform Creating and Configuring Virtual Machines Running Windows or Linux Servers Knowledge of networking (switches, routers, load balancers) and related protocols (TCP, NFS, CIFS, etc.) Knowledge of security systems (firewalls, VPNs, etc.) Knowledge in the Field of Storage Knowledge of network services such as DNS, DHCP, and Active Directory Ability to analyze system performance and tune systems Knowledge of the following will also be considered a plus other VMware products such as: v Realize Operations, v Sphere Replication, Site Recovery Manager, Orchestrator, v Realize Automation, Log Insight, NSX, Horizon View, Air Watch in the management and configuration of blade servers from Cisco, HP, and IBM/Lenovo in related areas such as: Backup, Databases, and Applications. xivgfpx The profile is rounded out by personal skills and experience such as A strong aptitude for working in a team Flexibility and problem-solving skills Strong customer focus and enthusiasm Effective Stress and Time Management Strong organizational, analytical, and decision-making skills Good knowledge of English, both written and spoken (preferably at the B2–C1 level) Type of Offer Compensation determined based on the candidate's actual skills and qualifications Opportunities for personal growth and ongoing training in a stimulating and dynamic environment This job opening is for the REGGIO EMILIA office at VCUBE S.r.l.
