No Offer DescriptionAnalysis and evaluation of geochemical data as part of the ANR COR-Resilience program. This involves processing and interpreting data already acquired from elemental and isotopic measurements taken from coral cores of the Porites and Diploastrea genera in the Indian Ocean, particularly those taken around Mayotte, Juan de Nova, and Europa. Using existing data sets stored in Excel spreadsheets, data analysis (trace elements & stable isotopes) will be carried out in order to reconstruct the interannual and decadal variability of temperatures and the chemistry of carbonates in coral calcification fluids over the last century for the sites studied. Once the calculations have been performed using existing proxies and calibration curves and appropriate computer tools, the data will be interpreted and the reconstructed environmental data will be compared with the evolution of the growth parameters of the corals studied (data also acquired).
