Join to apply for the Asset Manager role at Approach People Recruitment Asset Manager – Italy An international renewable energy group with 40 years of expertise is strengthening its presence in Italy. Following the acquisition of a solar O&M business, the company is entering a new phase of growth. Our client is now recruiting an Asset Manager based in Rome (or remotely in Italy) to support the expansion of solar operations and business opportunities across the country. Your Role You will act as the key interface between asset owners and internal departments, ensuring optimal management of renewable energy installations while contributing to the company’s business growth in Italy. Location: Rome (3 days office / 2 days remote) – Full remote in Italy possible after onboarding. Travel: Occasional trips within Italy, France, UK Your main responsibilities will include: Stakeholder management : coordinate between asset owners and internal teams (technical, financial, commercial) and ensure contractual obligations are met. Operational & performance management : prepare budgets, draft operational reports, oversee insurance claims, and carry out on-site inspections (audits, supplier monitoring, regulatory checks). Business development : identify opportunities, build market knowledge, respond to tenders, attend industry events, and develop tailored service proposals. Your Profile At least 2 years’ experience in renewable energy asset management, O&M, or service contract sales in or for Italy (solar preferred; wind or related sectors accepted). Strong knowledge of the Italian renewable energy market (electricity market, GSE certifications, energy distributors, grid access, local regulations). Technical background (engineering/industrial/renewables) or commercial background with exposure to technical operations in renewable Comfortable managing both technical and client-facing activities. Languages: Italian and English fluency required , French a plus. Bachelor/Master’s degree in Engineering, Renewable Energy, or related field. Driving license required .
