This position is posted by Jobgether on behalf of a partner company. We are currently looking for a Software Engineer (Python/Linux/Packaging) in Italy. This role is ideal for a hands‑on engineer passionate about open‑source development, Linux systems, and automation tooling. You will work on critical software that supports developers in building, packaging, and publishing applications, containers, and operator bundles at scale. The position offers the opportunity to shape and improve developer workflows, contributing directly to widely‑used tools in the Linux ecosystem. You will collaborate with internal teams and the external open‑source community, ensuring robust, secure, and user‑friendly solutions. Your work will impact thousands of developers and engineers worldwide, helping simplify software delivery across diverse platforms.
