Operations Manager, External FulfillmentThe role includes interfacing with the Third Party Logistics (3PL) providers and being the main POC for all internal teams such as Transportation, Retail and Supply Chain. The main tasks will be management, control and direction for the 3PL operations. The main objective is to continuously improve the level of service that the 3PL provides to our customers. The 3PL Operations Manager will be responsible for both launch and improvement projects and will contribute to the development of Amazon’s flexible & customer‑centric fulfillment.Key job responsibilitiesManage and control performance, cost and capacity of External Fulfillment Logistics provider (3PL)Monitor and analyze customer experience and delivery performance, maintain and develop KPIs and SLAs with 3PLContribute to process improvements and cost optimization initiatives in collaboration with internal and external stakeholdersPrioritize projects and software feature requests, evaluate and set stakeholder expectationsEnsure for each integration that requirements and resources both internal / external are available to deliver successWork closely with technical development teams to deliver features which are customer‑focused, scalable, auditable and iteratively developedPossesses combination of practical and intellectual skills and an ability to shift, and adapt to different tasks that vary between complex analyses and hands‑on project and operations managementStrong focus on quantitative data working with large datasets and able to use the appropriate software for this scaleBasic QualificationsBachelor’s degree or equivalent certification in Engineering, Operations, Business Administration, or a related fieldFluency in Turkish and EnglishProficient in Microsoft Office products: Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint and MS ProjectPreferred QualificationsProven operations leadership experience in a similar fast‑paced process driven manufacturing, production or distribution/logistics environmentStrong data analysis skills – Ability to produce, interpret and draw conclusions from dataSound business judgment, proven ability to influence others, and strong analytical thinking skills are critical to success in this positionExcellent communication skills with the ability to communicate and influence effectively at all levelsPast experience or study of startup operations and/or 3PL environmentsTeam player who can facilitate successful project work, operating to deadlinesTheoretical and practical knowledge of Lean techniques such as Kaizen or Six SigmaTechnical expertise – Solution‑driven approach to systems & processesExperience with analytical tools such as data warehouse tables: SQL / Visual Basic / Power BIMasters degree in (Industrial/Mechanical) Engineering, Operations, Business Administration, or a related fieldOur inclusive culture empowers Amazonians to deliver the best results for our customers.
