DESCRIPTION OF THE ROLE: BATA is seeking a Global Marketing & Communication Specialist to join our Global Marketing team at our Padova headquarter. We are looking for a high-energy, strategically minded marketer who brings strong analytical skills, solid brand thinking, and a passion for delivering impactful consumer experiences. The candidate understands how to translate insights into action and how to support brand growth in a global retail context. Reporting to the Global Marketing Manager, our ideal candidate will collaborate with global and regional marketing teams as well as product design teams to deliver robust brand communication and activation programs. Your work will help strengthen brand positioning, build brand equity, and drive footfall and engagement in our retail network. He/She will support the development and execution of high-quality communication campaigns and retail activation plans grounded in both qualitative and quantitative consumer insights. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: Support the Global Marketing Manager in developing and planning global brand communication campaigns Conduct qualitative and quantitative research to inform brand strategies and refine consumer understanding Translate insights into actionable recommendations for brand positioning, storytelling, and retail activation Support go-to-market (GTM) plans and marketing playbooks for regional teams Collaborate with regions to adapt brand initiatives to local needs while ensuring global consistency Work with Visual Merchandising teams and retail partners to increase brand visibility, elevate in-store experience, and drive footfall Collaborate with cross-functional teams (legal, finance, supply chain, product and merchandising) to execute marketing campaigns Build strong relationships with retail activation, advertising, and production agencies to ensure excellence in execution Support the rollout of global marketing projects across priority markets REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor’s degree (BA) or equivalent; We have no preference for the field of study; Minimum 2 years of experience in marketing (brand/communication experience preferred) in retail and fashion companies; Fluency in English is mandatory; Experience conducting or working with qualitative and quantitative research methodologies; Strong analytical thinking and ability to derive insights from data; Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional and international teams; Understanding of retail activation and consumer experience; experience in a major retailer is a strong plus; Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and a solution-oriented mindset; Passion for brand building and commitment to collaborative team culture. LOCATION: Limena, Italy (PD) Possibility of working in Smart Working for part of the week after an initial on-site training period Willingness to travel for campaign shoots and agencies meetings within Europe and to our HQ in Losanne. #J-18808-Ljbffr
