Webuild Group is currently hiring aSenior Buyerfor itsCommodity Materials and Permanent Systemsat the headquarters in Milan. Responsibilities:Support the Global Commodity Manager and coordinate with unit buyers to define procurement strategies for Material & Permanent Systems goods. Manage the overall sourcing process, including defining the supplier list, preparing requests for proposals, and conducting negotiations to optimize costs, quality, and lead times. Contribute to company and procurement team objectives. Ensure compliance with Global Supply Chain policies and company standards. Analyze and compare supplier offers, coordinate technical checks with relevant departments, and prepare summary reports with recommendations. Draft terms and conditions of agreements and purchase orders in collaboration with Legal and Contract Departments, coordinating with requesting departments. Support supplier relations in line with the company's ethical standards and policies. Assist Regional Supply Chain and Procurement Managers in creating procurement plans to enhance operational efficiency. Support bidding and startup teams during the procurement phase. Participate in report analysis and implement corrective measures to address procurement issues. Help define and implement commodity strategies. Requirements:5-10 years of experience in a similar role within multinational environments. Degree in Engineering, Economics, or Business Management. Skills in market analysis and benchmarking. Experience in supplier base selection, development, and management. Ability to perform prime cost-driven value analyses. Proficiency in MS Office and SAP MM. Willingness to travel and work at sites and joint ventures. Fluent in English. Additional Skills:Numerical and critical data analysis skills. Results-oriented mindset. Teamwork skills.
