We are seeking a motivated and customer-oriented Parts Sales Representative to join our team. In this role, you will be the first point of contact for customers and technicians, providing exceptional service while assisting them with their automotive needs. ResponsibilitiesAssist customers in selecting required parts, suggest companion requirements, offer specials, and ensure that the customer is exposed to the full product line. Develop customer relationships by providing excellent customer service in every interaction, this includes being friendly, professional, and efficient when working with all customers, both on the phone and in person. Accurately look up parts with the computer system or manually to find the part customer needs. Sell parts at the established price structure and consult with parts manager on all special pricing. Know all first provider customers and pricing. Prepare parts invoices accurately and thoroughly. Fill out estimates for customers and the truck and body shop timely and accurately. Maintains accurate records on all parts sold and ordered. If the part is not in stock, determine availability and submit an emergency order if requested by the customer. Issue credit for parts returned, ensuring that the original invoice, or its number, is available so that purchase and pricing can be verified.
