Key job responsibilities The selected individual will be responsible for managing physical security operations, developing post orders, defining security procedures, handling site incidents, working with security equipment, participating in construction projects, and driving day‑to‑day process improvement activities and managing vendors. Duties include ensuring consistent deployment of all required security policies and procedures and participating in recurring site audits and reviews and testing new security technologies. Must have and demonstrate resilient leadership skills, flexibility to work in dynamic environment, exceptional knowledge of security practices and strong written and verbal communication. About the team AWS Infrastructure Services (AIS) owns the design, planning, delivery, and operation of all AWS global infrastructure. In other words, we’re the people who keep the cloud running. We support all AWS data centers and all of the servers, storage, networking, power, and cooling equipment that ensure our customers have continual access to the innovation they rely on. We work on the most challenging problems, with thousands of variables impacting the supply chain — and we’re looking for talented people who want to help. You’ll join a diverse team of software, hardware, and network engineers, supply chain specialists, security experts, operations managers, and other vital roles. Basic QualificationsBachelor's degree in Criminology/Criminal Justice or a relevant field Experience using CCTV, access control and intrusion systems Experience with Microsoft Office toolsPreferred QualificationsExperience with various Access/Intrusion control Systems in a Control room environment 1+ years of security operations oversight experienceAmazon is an equal opportunity employer and does not discriminate on the basis of protected veteran status, disability, or other legally protected status. The base pay for this position ranges from $43,900/year in our lowest geographic market up to $94,100/year in our highest geographic market.
