You’ll collaborate across AWS to deliver the highest standards for safety and security while providing infinite capacity at the lowest possible cost, and experience an inclusive culture that welcomes bold ideas and empowers ownership.Key Job ResponsibilitiesInvolved with projects of moderate complexity.Assist in troubleshooting facility and rack-level events within internal Service Level Agreements (SLA).Perform rack installs, rack decommissioning, operational readings, and facility management.Provide key performance indicators to senior engineers.Responsible for on-site management of contractors, subcontractors, and vendors, ensuring work aligns with established practices, procedures & local legislation.Monitor performance of maintenance and operations on all electrical, mechanical, and fire/life safety equipment within the data center.Ensure safety procedures are adhered to while performing work.Assist with basic support concepts such as ticketing systems, root cause analysis, change management creation, writing procedures, and building management systems.Work schedule may change depending on site needs. Shifts up to 12‑hours, may rotate on predefined schedule; some locations include on‑call rotations.Maintain critical infrastructure equipment to ensure 99.999% uptime.Role may support more than one location/site.Walk job sites on uneven terrain, maintain balance, perform construction tasks while on a ladder.Regularly lift or move up to 39 pounds independently; participate in group lifts for 40+ pounds.Perform tasks requiring hand use, finger use, reach, stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl, climb stairs, twist, bend, work above shoulders, grasp, carry, push, and pull.A Day in the LifeAs a front‑line responder, you support operations of powerful data centers.
