The ideal candidate has a linguistic education / background, great attention to detail, the ability to work independently and enthusiasm for improving AI technology.Role Responsibilities In this role you will listen to short Italian audio recordings and review, correct, refine and/or expand pre-annotated descriptions/labels to accurately reflect voice characteristics and speech delivery.Job RequirementsIdiomatic fluency in Italian (Italy)Pass a qualification test (estimated duration is 25 minutes)Be located in ItalyExcellent listening, writing and spelling skills in ItalianAdvanced English language skills (written and verbal)Degree in linguistics or related field (phonetics, phonology, speech pathology, etc.)Phonetics / phonology expertise is preferredRelevant experience in data analysis, labeling speech / text-to-speech technology and/or audio annotation is considered a plusFamiliarity with online annotation tools is preferredAbility to work independently and meet deadlines effectivelyExceptional attention to detail and the ability to deliver error-free workAvailability to work a minimum of 20 hours per weekInterest in language technologiesInterest in language technologies As part of the application process you are required to complete a 1‑minute questionnaire which will be sent to you via email from a domain after you click Apply to submit your application.Who We Are DataForce by TransPerfect is part of the TransPerfect family of companies, the world's largest provider of language and technology solutions for global business with offices in more than 100 cities worldwide.We offer high‑quality data for Human‑Machine Interaction to some of the most prestigious technology companies in the world.
