Role : Finance Process Expert (FI / CO) - S / 4HANA Programme Location : Europe (Hybrid / Remote with occasional travel) Industry : Global Manufacturing Contract : Freelance / Interim A leading manufacturing organisation is seeking a Finance Process Expert (FI / CO) to support the design of their future-state finance model as part of a large-scale S / 4HANA transformation. This role sits at the intersection of business and IT, focusing on process strategy rather than configuration. Key ResponsibilitiesLead the definition and design of future-state Finance & Controlling processes Map end-to-end processes across SAP and non-SAP activities Assess cross-functional impacts across Procurement, Sales, Supply Chain, Manufacturing and other areas Identify organisational changes required (roles, responsibilities, ownership) Provide external best-practice insight and constructively challenge existing ways of working Support Fit-to-Standard workshops, process documentation and governance Collaborate closely with the SI, internal teams and senior stakeholders Experience RequiredDeep Finance & Controlling process expertise Hands‑on S / 4HANA transformation experience Strong workshop leadership and stakeholder engagement Ability to challenge design decisions and guide teams towards best practice Experience with Signavio (highly desirable) This is an opportunity to play a critical role in shaping the future finance landscape of a major global organisation - embedding best practices, driving process optimisation, and ensuring a successful S / 4HANA journey.#J-18808-Ljbffr
